Macrosynthetic Fiber Reinforcement for Concrete
Advantage Macrosynthetic Fiber is a blend of polypropylene and polyethylene resins, configured as a mechanically embossed tape with critical width and thickness dimensions to maximize bond. Advantage Macrosynthetic Fiber is used to replace steel fibers, welded wire mesh (WWM), rebar and conventional reinforcement in concrete.
Advantage Macrosynthetic Fiber is available in two different lengths, 1.5" (3.8 cm) and 2" (5 cm), and in various packaging. This is intended to optimize ease of use and dispersion in concrete, as well as finishing and ultimate properties of concrete.
Advantage Macrosynthetic Fiber provides excellent results according to the ASTM C1609 test method. Advantage Macrosynthetic Fiber is UL-approved and listed by UL as File No. R39898, Fiber Reinforcement and Concrete Additives (CBXQ).
