Prefabricated Drainage Composite with High-Capacity Retention
Mapedrain 60 is a three-dimensional drainage composite with high-capacity retention. It consists of a high-impact polypropylene core with holes that allow water retention as well as drainage. Bonded to the open dimple retention side of Mapedrain 60’s molded core, the product’s root-resistant fabric also serves as a filter medium to prevent the passage of particles into the water reservoirs while allowing excess water to pass freely into the drainage system. The waterproofing membrane is further protected by a 4-ounce (113-gram) nonwoven fabric attached to the dimples. Designed for use in horizontal green-roof or large planter applications, Mapedrain 60 can be used in conjunction with MAPEI’s waterproofing membranes to provide a complete green-roof system.
