Penetrating, Water-Based, Silane/Siloxane Water Repellent

1. IDEAL CONDITIONS

  • Temperature Window: Apply only when ambient and surface temperatures are between $45^{\circ}F$ and $95^{\circ}F$ (7°C and $35^{\circ}C$).

  • Post-Application Temps: Temperatures must not drop below $40^{\circ}F$ (4°C) within 4 hours of applying.

  • Weather Watch: Do not apply if rain is anticipated within 8 hours.

  • Sunlight: For optimum installation, avoid working in direct sunlight or on hot concrete.

 2. PREP & MIXING

  • Protect Surroundings: Mask and protect areas where overspray is not desired, including glass, plastic, metal, and plants.

  • Overspray Cleanup: If overspray occurs, remove it from building components using soapy water before it dries.

  • Shake Well: Always agitate/shake the product before pouring it into your sprayer to ensure no settling has occurred.

3. APPLICATION EQUIPMENT

  • Tools: Use a brush or a low-pressure sprayer with an adequate delivery tip to ensure the surface is properly wetted out.

⚙️ 4. THE STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS

  • Step 1: Mist. Apply a light mist of the product to break the surface tension before beginning the main application.

  • Step 2: Saturate. Apply consistently, ensuring adequate overlap of material to completely saturate the surface.

  • Step 3: Rundown. Allow for an 8" to 10" (20 to 25 cm) rundown of the product.

  • Step 4: Direction. If working on a vertical surface, always start at the bottom and work your way up.

  • Step 5: One Pass. The surface must be completely wetted out in exactly one application; subsequent applications may not be effective.

5. CLEANUP

  • Tools: Clean all tools immediately after use with soap and water.
